Crystal City has one contested councilperson race in upcoming election

(Crystal City) Crystal City has one contested city council race on the ballot for next week’s municipal election. Current councilman Tony Becker will be challenged by former Crystal City employee Karry “Dink” Friedmeyer in Ward 3. Crystal City City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says both are quality people with the city’s best interest in mind.
Incumbent Jack Ginnever is running unopposed in Ward 1, incumbent Taylor Massa is running unopposed in Ward 2, and John Winkelman is running unopposed in Ward 4. Winkelman will be new to the council, as current councilman David Piccarella is not seeking another term.
