(Jefferson City) Governor Mike Parson says he will not issue a statewide face mask order to help slow the spread of COVID-19, instead leaving the decision up to local leaders.
His opponent on the November ballot, Democratic State Auditor Nicole Galloway, says Missouri needs a statewide mask mandate.
Galloway says without a mandate, our state’s economy will never recover.
Galloway has recently visited northeast Missouri’s Hannibal, southeast Missouri’s Cape Girardeau and west-central Missouri’s Sedalia as part of her statewide campaign for governor.
