Desloge Woman Injured in Pickup Truck Accident in Desloge

(Desloge) A woman from Desloge was injured early this morning in a pickup truck accident in Desloge.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Marty Drive at Monroe Street when 52-year-old Stephanie Memhardt was travelling west on Marty Drive, she attempted to turn northbound onto Monroe but was apparently distracted by a dog.

She lost control of her Chevy Silverado which ran off the road and struck a culvert.

Memhardt was moderately injured and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City for treatment.
