(DE SOTO) De Soto junior wrestler Landon Porter picked up his 100th career victory at the Monett Tournament on Saturday with a 4-3 decision over two-time state champion and nationally ranked Tyler Curd of Oak Grove.

Porter takes us through the come-from-behind win, which earned him first place.

That win improved Porter’s record this season to 20-0. Curd isn’t the only ranked opponent he’s faced this year.

Porter’s celebration of career win number 100 involved lack of sleep.

Porter’s 100th career win improves a resume that already features a 2nd place finish at state last season in the 285 and a 2018 Winter Dream Team selection.
