DeSoto Softball Starts Over with Alumnus Leading the Way

(DeSoto) The new head coach of DeSoto Dragons softball knows what it takes for the team to be successful. Brittany Krodinger is a former player and assistant coach. Coming off a 1-win 2021 campaign, Krodinger says she’s grateful to start from square one and build a program similar to something she got to play for.

Seniors Ella DeClue and Cameron Hayes-Gowen are expected to be one of the veteran leaders, but the team will largely rely on younger players like sophomore Elizabeth Woelich. Krodinger lays out what she wants the Dragons to accomplish in her first season as head coach.
