(Pevely) Six divisions of dirt car racing take over Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely Thursday through Saturday.

Late models, UMP modifieds, pro late models, pro modifieds, factory stocks and sport compacts will be in action on the third-of-a-mile high banked dirt oval, racing for a purse of nearly 50-thousand dollars.

Pits open Thursday morning at 10 with two rounds of hot laps and free grandstand admission for spectators.

Pits open Friday morning at 11:30 with three classes running with hot laps at 5:30 and racing at 7:30 Friday night.

On Saturday, pits open at noon with three more classes. Hot laps start at 5:30 Saturday evening with racing at 7:30.

Kids 12 and under get in free all three days in the grandstands.

A two-day grandstand combo pass costs 40 dollars for those over 12.

It’s the Dirt Car Fall Nationals Thursday through Saturday at the raceway in Pevely.
