Early Childhood Center in Northwest School District holds Literacy Night

(House Springs) The Early Childhood Center in the Northwest School District recently held its first Literacy Night event.

The event was to promote reading to younger children and to help children on how to read.

Northwest schools Superintendent Dr. Desi Kirchhofer says most of their schools throughout the district participate in a Literacy Night during the school year.

According to Dr. Kirchhofer, the event was well attended and the Early Childhood Center plans to have another Literacy Night next year.
