Elderly Festus Folks Injured In Car Crash In Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) Two Festus residents were injured following a car crash on Route TT in Jefferson County Monday morning. Highway patrol says the crash occurred just north of Kessler Lane when 78-year-old Richard Hart pulled out of a private driveway in a 2020 Ford Fusion but failed to see an on-coming vehicle and was hit on the right side of his car. Both Hart and a passenger, 83-year-old Patricia Hart, received moderate injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital South around 11 A.M. Monday morning.
