Farmington Chamber Raises Money For Help The Hungry

(Farmington) Money continues to come in for the Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction. At today’s Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting, $700 was raised through two desserts that were auctioned off. Chris Landrum is in charge of Help the Hungry. She says they’re ecstatic about the additional money.
We asked Landrum about the reaction of the food pantries to all the money raised.
The cakes were prepared by Landrum and Nancy Sullivan. They were bought by Unico Bank and First State Community Bank. In addition, the chamber also recognized Chris Morrison, Jerry Weems, Joe Gilgour, Mark Toti and Larry Joseph with special awards for their contributions to the chamber.
