Farmington Falls to Jackson in SEMO North Title Bid

(Farmington) Farmington couldn’t keep pace with Jackson in a bid for the SEMO North title at Haile Memorial Stadium. The defending state champion and Class Five’s number one ranked team raced past the Knights 55-0. The Indians scored touchdowns on eight of their 10 possessions. Jackson gained 482 yards, 246 on the ground and 236 through the air. Marchi threw four touchdown passes. The Knights managed only 124 total yards. Farmington coach Erik Kruppe doesn’t think the loss will diminish their success. He says Jackson is just that good…

Farmington falls to 5-2 and will head to Festus next week. Jackson has now won 21 straight games and they will play Cardinal Ritter for the second time this season in week eight.
