(St. Louis) For the third week in a row Farmington is receiving the 11th most votes in the class four state football poll. This week the 6-1 Knights will face a team that many have predicted will win a state title at the class two level all year long. Two days ago Lutheran North was going to enter the matchup at 5-1 with a number two ranking. However their only loss on the field came to top ranked Cardinal Ritter, and Ritter has now been forced to forfeit that game and all others so far this year for playing an ineligible player. The Crusaders lost that game without some of their blue chip players available. Farmington coach Erik Kruppe doesn’t mind that their opponent will have to play with the burden of expectations…


Farmington has been out of school all week on fall break, but the schedule shouldn’t be too out of the ordinary for his team…

After losing to Class five second ranked Jackson in week six, the Knights bounced back with an impressive shutout at Sikeston last week.
Outside of its game against Ritter, Lutheran North has had an average margin of victory of 48 points. Coach Carl Reed says there’s more to come from his Crusaders…
