Farmington Golf Sending Three to State

(Farmington) The Farmington boys golf team came in third at its sectional meet last weekend at Crown Pointe Golf Course. In the process the Knights qualified three golfers for the state meet. Senior Dylan Wiles earned the individual championship at sectionals with sophomores Jonah Burgess and Alden Klug finishing 7th and 19th.

Downs says none of the guys have any experience playing the Columbia Country Club, where the state meet will be held. They’ll get a practice round on Sunday. Down tells us what they’ll do to prepare…

The class three state meet will be held Monday and Tuesday in Columbia.
