Dustin Jenkerson, middle school principal, explains how they are keep students socially distanced during the uncertain times of COVID learning.

Jenkerson says they have had to send out two letters to the district and to parents regarding COVID-19, but they are keeping up with guidelines.

Masks have become a hot button topic in St. Francois county recently. They are not required at the middle school but recommended in certain areas.

Jenkerson estimates 120 students participate in virtual only learning, 520 come to school and about 30 use a hybrid system of learning.
