Farmington Pedestrian Killed In Accident

(Farmington) A Farmington man was killed last night in an accident on Route D, just south of Sugar Grove Road in St. Francois County.

The highway patrol says 36 year old Lee Lett apparently ran out into the middle of the road on Route D when he was hit by an unknown vehicle which then left the scene.

Then Lett was hit by a second vehicle, a truck driven by 23 year old Zachary Breakfield of Farmington.

Lett was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened last night just before ten o’clock.
