Farmington Prison Inmate Death

(Farmington) An inmate from the Farmington Correctional Center has died.

A news release from the Missouri Department of Corrections says an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death of 61-year-old Timothy Carithers.

He died on august 3rd and had been serving a 53-year sentence for forcible sodomy, forcible rape and robbery out of Jackson County.

Carithers was first sent to prison in March of 1994.
