(Farmington) The Farmington girls basketball team snapped an eight game losing streak to Cape Notre Dame earlier this year with a thrilling 49-44 overtime victory. The two meet again Tuesday night at Black Knight Fieldhouse for the Class 5 District 1 championship. The Knights come in 22-6 and ranked 10th in the state. The Bulldogs are 21-5 and are tied for 8th. Both teams were impressive in their semifinal wins as Farmington beat Hillsboro by 18 and Cape Notre Dame beat Cape Central by 20.
