Fatal Crash in Crawford County

(Crawford County) A 54-year-old woman from Tulsa, Oklahoma died in a one-car crash in Crawford County early this morning. The Highway Patrol says that the accident occurred on I-44 Eastbound just East of the 214 Exit. Kelly Burgess drove her 2006 Ford Escape off the right side of the roadway onto the south outer road, struck a fence, a utility pole, and overturned. Burgess wasn’t wearing a safety device and was ejected from her vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the scene and her body was transported to the Crawford County Morgue.
