Fatal Traffic Accidents Remain Up from this Time Last Year

(Jefferson County) Vehicle accidents involving fatal injuries continue to occur quite frequently across the state and the numbers remain up from this time a year ago.

Corporal Juston Wheetley with the Missouri State Highway Patrol has the official stats.

Corporal Wheetley adds they have been busy stepping up patrols and targeting speeders.

Corporal Wheetley mentions troopers will be out in full force over the Thanksgiving Holiday period, issuing warnings or citations to speeding and aggressive drivers as well as making the appropriate arrests for anyone driving under the influence.
