(FESTUS) The Festus Tigers defeated the Windsor Owls 65-57 Friday night at home to open JCAA Conference Large Schools play on AM 1400 KJFF. The biggest moment in the game for the Owls came in the 3rd quarter with the team down 46-44.

Windsor took a 50-46 lead into the 4th quarter and as the game dwindled down, Tiger senior Kobe Branscomb came through in the clutch.

Festus head coach Jason Therrell is proud of Branscomb for hitting that shot when the team needed it the most.

The Tigers improve to 8-4 and are 1-0 in Conference, while the Owls fall to 8-7 and are 0-1 in Conference. Festus is back in action Monday at St. Clair while Windsor is also on the road to face Affton for the 2nd time this season.
