Festus Elementary nominated for Blue Ribbon Award

(Festus) The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education nominated Festus Elementary School for the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award. The school is just one of seven in the entire state DESE has chosen to nominate. Festus Elementary School Principal Dr. Darin Siefert says this is a great honor, however, it’s not the first time Festus Elementary has been nominated.

Dr. Siefert says their testing scores, which this award is based on, were through the roof.

Festus Elementary will find out if they are indeed awarded for the National Blue Ribbon School award later this spring.
