Festus Fire Department Anticipates Replacing its Ladder Truck in the Next Few Years

(FESTUS) The Festus Fire Department has replaced two of its fire trucks over the past seven years, and they are preparing to replace another one in the next few years. Festus Fire Chief Jeff Broombaugh says their current ladder truck is fifteen years old.
Chief Broombaugh says the city will most likely be budgeting for the purchase and placing their order in the next year or two.
Festus currently has a 2017 Pierce pumper and rescue truck, and just last year they received their Rosenbauer Crossfire Pumper truck that was ordered in 2022.
