Festus’ Kettler Makes Dream Team After Impressive Sophomore Year

(FESTUS, Mo.) – As the Festus Tigers girls cross country team grabbed a second-place finish at the state championships, sophomore Emma Kettler capped off a breakout season by finishing 20th overall. Kettler accomplishments also include top-ten finishes in the district and conference meets and a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team. She said this season represented a huge step forward for her.
Since starting cross country in eighth grade, Kettler said her parents have beeen big influences along the way.
Kettler said the successes of both the girls and boys teams this year made it even more enjoyable.
Kettler is hoping to improve in the coming seasons and earn a top-15 finish at state in the future.
