Festus Police Request Funding for new camera’s/equipment on upcoming budget

(Festus) The Festus Police Department is putting in its wants and needs requests to the City before the council votes on and approves the annual budget later this month.

One of the requests for the police budget is new portable camera’s for officers.

In addition Festus PD would like to purchase a new security camera system around town called “FLOCK”.

The Festus City Council will vote to finalize the budget at their next meeting on Monday, September 27th.

The new budget will go into effect on October 1st.
