Festus R-6 Early Childhood Center Mid Year Success

(FESTUS) Dr. Samantha Mouser, the Director of the Festus R-6 Early Childhood Center says the first half of the school year has been a success in the first year for the center. The early childhood center also known as the Tiny Tigers Academy is located in the former Wee Care building on American Legion Dr. Mouser says the young students have grown accustomed to daily routines.
According to Dr. Mouser, the early childhood center helps get the student off to a good start for learning.
Festus R-6 Superintendent Dr. Nicki Ruess says there are 114 students enrolled at the Early Childhood Center and next year the district plans to expand the program by renovating three additional classrooms.
