Festus Tackling Ongoing Water Issues Next Week

(FESTUS) The City of Festus will be addressing some ongoing water problems next week. Areas like Edgewood Court, Edgewood, Mid-Meadow, Rosemary, and Orchard Lanes have had a discoloring of water for some time. City Administrator Greg Camp says a company will be coming in to perform a process called “ice pigging” to help take care of some of those issues.
Camp says the city is also bringing in an outside group to help with any potential water emergencies.
The “ice pigging” work at Edgewood Court, Edgewood, Mid-Meadow, Rosemary, and Orchard Lanes will begin on Thursday (1/11) of next week. Area residents are encouraged to contact Public Works at 636-937-6646 with any questions or concerns.
