Festus woman injured in Highway 67 accident

A Festus woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 67 at Montauk Drive Wednesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Dodge Challenger driven by 24-year old Samuel Boyd of Desloge was pulling out from Montauk to travel south on 67, failed to yield to traffic, and pulled into the path of a BMW 328 driven by 65-year old Rose Baugher. Baugher was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with moderate injuries while Boyd was not injured. The accident took place at 5:18 Wednesday afternoon.
