(Ste. Genevieve County) Five people were injured, one seriously, in a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternooon in Ste. Genevieve County.

The highway patrol says a Toyota Camry driven by 31 year old Shawn Livingston of St. James was driving west on Route HH and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Route D and proceeded to hit a truck driven by 67 year old Cecil Crocker of Bonne Terre.

Crocker was seriously injured in the accident and taken to Mercy Hospital South.

Livington and his passenger, 22 year old Sara Jones of Park Hills were moderately injured and taken to Parkland Health Center.

Two other people involved in the accident sustained minor injuries and were also taken to Parkland Health Center.
