Former Seckman Wrestling Coach Passes Away in Car Accident

(Seckman) Seckman Wrestling’s Facebook page announced that a former state champion, University of Missouri standout, and former Seckman Wrestling Head Coach Cody Green passed away over the weekend. The page says “From day one Cody has been the epitome of Seckman Wrestling. He was the first State Champion in the school’s history and came back as a coach and led the program to multiple state team trophies. He left his mark on everyone that had the chance to be around him and will always be remembered to many as a great coach, mentor, friend, husband, father and son. His legacy will live on forever in the Seckman Wrestling Program and we send our love and prayers to the Greene/Martin Family. Once a Jaguar, Always a Jaguar.” It is reported that Green died in a car accident, but no further information has been given.
