Fox tries to prepare for baseball despite season delay

These are odd times, especially when it comes to high school sports.

As such, preparation for the scheduled high school baseball season has come to a halt for the Fox Warriors.

Head coach Neil Richardson says his players and coaches are in a unique spot.

Fox was looking to improve on a solid 2019 season. The Warriors went 13-7 before losing in the district tournament to Vianney.
But a large number of seniors walked away heading into this season.

Richardson says this year’s team will lean a lot on the bat and arm of returning senior Bryce Wear.

With all Jefferson County schools closed and all sports cancelled until April, the earliest Fox would open its season would be April 10th against St. Charles.
