The first high school soccer broadcast of the new year on Regional Radio will see the Fredericktown Blackcats make the trip to Bonne Terre to take on the North County Raiders on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.

Fredericktown broke a 5-game losing streak to North County in last year’s 3-2 home win and finished 2018 at 6-7-3.

Blackcats assistant coach Leo Sikes says Fredericktown’s 3-3 start to this season under first-year head coach Jamie McCoy is another sign things are looking up for the program.

North County scored a 3-2 victory at Farmington Tuesday night to improve to 3-2.

While last year snapped a streak of 4 straight district championships, Raiders head coach Rob O’Keefe believes his team’s success on defense last year provides the key to this team getting back to championship-caliber success.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 Wednesday evening.
Our coverage of Fredericktown-North County soccer starts with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show at 6:15 on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.
