Fredericktown’s Kayleigh Slinkard Signs to Play Soccer at Mineral Area College

(Fredericktown, Mo.) After a stellar tenure with the Fredericktown girls soccer team, Kayleigh Slinkard signed this week to continue her playing career in the fall with Mineral Area College.

She says she chose to play at MAC to stay close to her family and to join a brand new program.

The Blackcats girls soccer team went 31-12 over the last two seasons with Slinkard playing a key role in the team’s success.

She says she has loved her time playing soccer at Fredericktown.

While Slinkard’s primary focus on the pitch is as a defensive player, Fredericktown head coach D.J. McFadden says she has the ability to play virtually any position.

Slinkard finished her career at Fredericktown with 31 goals, 13 assists, 120 steals and 66 defensive stops.
