Governor’s Mansion to Light Up to Honor Class of 2020

(Jefferson City) The COVID-19 pandemic forced schools around the world to close their doors for the year.

This caused many seniors to question whether or not they would have a graduation ceremony.

Governor Mike Parson took some time during his live stream today to give them some advice.

First Lady Teresa Parson, decided to honor the class of 2020 with something special.

Governor Parson ended his live stream with some more encouragement for the seniors.

Many schools end as May wraps up, and they are working hard to figure out how to have graduations in a world of social distancing.
