(HILLSBORO) Tuesday on K-JEFF Sports Talk’s Jefferson County Athletic Director Summer Series, Grandview AD Don Jeffries dropped by the studio to preview the upcoming 2019-2020 varsity sports seasons.

Volleyball will once again be led by Madeline Rotter. Eagles volleyball finished with the most wins in program history with 19 under Coach Rotter. Despite losing senior Katie Huskey who is now at Hannibal-LaGrange and losing senior setter Kaylyn Sparks, Jeffries is still pretty excited about who is coming back, beginning with Delanie Dierker.

Grandview volleyball will once again take part in the Dig for Life Tournament at SEMO September 13th through the 14th.

As for football, Grandview’s homecoming game is October 4th against Herculaneum.

The first game of the regular season for Eagles football will be at Scott City on August 30th.

Then there is cross country in the fall with two female state qualifiers from last year coming back.

Grandview will be kicking off the new fall sports season in a pretty special way again this year.

The only coaching change of note for the entire 2019-2020 sports season is football head coach Dave Dallas taking over for the girls and boys track and field program.
