Grants Available for those in the Food Business Industry

(Ste. Genevieve) The Missouri Department of Economic Development wants restaurant owners and others in the food industry to be aware of a new program that began on Monday.

It’s for those food-related businesses who have been affected financially because of the pandemic.

Sandra Cabot of Ste. Genevieve works for the state department of economic development for the southeast region.

The website for the portal is restaurants.sba.gov. Cabot says the restaurant industry has struggled for over a year now.

Cabot previously worked as the director of tourism and economic develpment in Ste. Genevieve. She held that position from June 2013 until she resigned to take her new job in November of 2019.
