Great Pumpkin Festival this Saturday

(Festus, Crystal City) The annual Great Pumpkin Festival on Festus Main Street is this weekend. The Festival always includes a costume contest for kids from newborns to 12 years of age. Chris Hagan with Metro Gift Shop says the younger age groups seem to always have the most participants.
There will be winners in each age group, and a contest for the overall winner, plus a family costume contest as well. Festus Main Street merchants will also be handing out candy to the kids. The judging begins at 10AM and goes until just after noon. KJFF will also broadcast live from the Great Pumpkin Festival this Saturday.
