Groundbreaking Tuesday For Farmington All-Inclusive Playground

(Farmington) A special groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Tuesday in Farmington for the new all-inclusive playground being built at Engler Park. The city has been awarded a grant of just over 186 thousand dollars to help with this project. City Administrator Greg Beavers says they also have a lot of donated time and material going into the development of the playground.

The new playground will encompass 20 thousand square feet and if all goes well, it could be open in the spring. Play It Forward In The Parkland has spearheaded efforts to get this done for the past several year. The public is invited to the ribbon cutting on Tuesday.
