Help The Hungry Presents Checks

(Farmington) A special ceremony was held Wednesday to present checks to the two main food pantries in Farmington. The money was raised through the Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction. Becky Panchot is on the Help the Hungry committee. She says it’s a lot of work but well worth it.

Nancy Faulkner is the director of the Farmington Ministerial Allliance Food Pantry. She says this money is very much needed.

Agnes Hinkibein is with the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. She says they really appreciate the efforts of everyone involved.

The Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction raised over $127,000. The event was held at the St. Joseph Catholic School Gym. The grant check ceremony was held at the First Baptist Church in Farmington.
