Herculaneum Cross Country Senior Jonathon Coffman Talks State and Athlete of the Week Award

(HERCULANEUM) A 2nd place finish at state for Herculaneum cross country runner Jonathon Coffman earned him the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week award.

Coffman’s time of 15:37 was good enough to finish runner-up in Class 3 and it also helped lead the way to a 2nd place team finish for the Blackcats.

Coffman talks about the special moment for both him and the team.

His 15:37was the 6th fastest of the day across all four classes and it was his career-best time as well. Coffman becomes the first-ever cross country runner at Herculaneum to be All-State all four years.

With winning the Athlete of the Week award, Coffman has chosen the LIFE Center in Farmington for his $25 donation through the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy.

Jonathon Coffman has also received a t-shirt and a certificate for being the athlete of the week.
