Hickey White Park is approved on Twin City levee property

(Crystal City) With the help of the Twin City Levee Commission and the City of Festus, Crystal City is moving forward with plans to relocate Darrell Hickey White Park to property owned by the commission on County Road. City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says they will start the planning phase in the upcoming months.

Eisenbeis says councilman Ken Duncan and several others did a great job moving this idea along.

Hickey White Park had been closed for several years due to constant flooding, and the new location will be on the dry side of the levee and just down the road from the Twin City Little League facility.
