Highway Patrolman from Fredericktown Receives Promotion

(Fredericktown) Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper Richard Walker of Fredericktown will be promoted to corporal and will remain in his assignment as a marine operations trooper.

He was appointed to the highway patrol on January 16th of 2001.

After graduating from the patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 8 in New Madrid and Pemiscot counties.

He was later transferred to Zone 12 in Iron and Madison counties.

On April 1st of 2018, Walker was transferred to Zone 15 for marine operations.

Walker is married and has two children.
