Hillsboro Boys Beat Festus 85-66 Monday Night
(HILLSBORO)    In boys basketball last Monday night, the Hillsboro Hawks used a 16-2 run in the third quarter to go on and beat the Festus Tigers 85-66.  The game was broadcast on KJFF 1400AM and mymoinfo.com.
Hillsboro took a 37-35 lead into the locker room at halftime, so the possibility was there that the two teams could play another contest beyond regulation.
Hawks head coach Brian Sucharski says his talk with the team at halftime was pretty much the usual message.

The Hawks were led in scoring by Luka Pool who had 22 points, followed by Dom Sutton with 20 and the Applebee’s of Farmington player of the game Greg Robinson had 19 points.
Sucharski says he was impressed by Robinson at the free throw line.

For the Tigers, they were led in scoring by sophomore Drew Johnson who had 21 points and Hayden Bates contributed 17 more for Festus.
The Tigers slip to (11-10) and have lost four of their last five games. The Tigers will play at North County Tuesday.
The Hawks improve to (14-6) and they have won six of their last seven games.  The Hawks are scheduled to host Northwest Tuesday.
