Hillsboro Schools Ready for the start of the 2022-23 school year

(Hillsboro) The Hillsboro School District is gearing up for the beginning of the new school year.

Superintendent Dr. Jon Isaacson says new teachers were on campus last week for orientation and all other staff returns on Tuesday to prepare for the start of school.

There will be changes when it comes to the districts food service for students.

According to Dr. Isaacson, many families can qualify for the Free or Reduced meal rates based on update income thresholds.

Families are encouraged to complete a Free/Reduced meal application on-line through the district’s infinite campus parent portal.

It’s important to have the application completed before the first day of school which is on Monday, August 22nd in the Hillsboro School District.
