Hillsboro Teen Killed in Weekend Traffic Accident in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) A 14 year old girl from Hillsboro was killed over the weekend in a traffic accident on Highway B in Jefferson County.

The highway patrol says a Ford Ranger driven by a 16 year old male was driving north when he crossed the center line and was hit by a truck driven by Samuel Skidmore of De Soto.

A 14 year old girl was killed in the accident while two other people in the Ford Ranger were also injured.

None of their names have been released. Skidmore wasn’t injured.
