Hillsboro water tower issues and planning

(Hillsboro) The City of Hillsboro continues to look into the process of adding another water tower on the north end of town. Hillsboro Mayor Buddy Russell says he along with the city were close to getting something moving a little over a year ago, then things changed.

Russell says the cost for a project such as this skyrocketed.

Russell says he along with Hillsboro city officials and the Jefferson County Administration will continue to work together to get the water tower project moving along. A water tower on the north end of the city would open up lots of potential business and residential growth.
