Imperial Man Appointed by Governor to Open Circuit Court Judge Seat

(Imperial) Governor Parson made a local appointment this week.

He placed Travis Partney of Imperial as the Circuit Judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit.

Partney is currently the first assistant prosecuting attorney for the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and communications from Southeast Missouri State and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri.

Partney will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Judge Dianna Bartels.
