Inmate Dies At Potosi Correctional Center

(Mineral Point) An inmate at the Potosi Correctional Center died this week.
65 year old Michael Oliver was pronounced dead at the University Hospital in Columbia on Monday.
He was serving a sentence of life without parole for first degree murder and armed criminal action from Jefferson County.
He had been in the prison system since June of 1992.
Officials say he died of apparent natural causes.
