Inmate From Farmington Correctional Center Dies

(Farmington) An inmate from the Farmington Correctional Center died Friday at Mercy Hospital St. Anthony’s.

A news release from the Missouri Department of Corrections says 39-year-old Michael Keithley was serving seven years in prison for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, felony resisting/interfering with an arrest and unlawful use of a weapon out of Polk County.

Keithley was first sent to prison in November of 2020.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
