Iron County Commission Passes New Fiscal Year Budget

(Ironton) A new budget is now in place for Iron County government.

The Fiscal Year 2022 budget was officially approved by the county commission this afternoon at the courthouse in Ironton.

Presiding Commissioner Jim Scaggs tells us how the new numbers for the county looks.

We asked Scaggs if the new budget includes any major projects.

Another big project in Iron County, that has been ongoing for a couple years now, is the total renovation of the historic courthouse.
