JCSO crime lab process and possible location

(Hillsboro) It certainly appears Jefferson County government will be moving forward to build a crime lab for the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Dave Marshak says there are quite a few things to tackle along the way. He says one of those at the top of the list is hiring someone to run the facility.

Sheriff Marshak says they may have a good location in mind which is already used by the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Marshak says they have already spoken to the City of Pevely about the possibility of renovating the evidence facility to also house the crime lab. There will be several more meetings and discussions before the project gets the green light.
