Jefferson College to Hold 56th Annual Commencement Ceremonies in mid May

(Hillsboro) Jefferson College will hold the 56th annual commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, May 14th and 15th, in the Field House on the Hillsboro campus.

College spokesman Roger Barrentine says in light of the pandemic, they will be hosting graduation a little different this year.

Jefferson County Circuit Judge Darrell Missey will be the keynote speaker for each graduation ceremony.

665 students are eligible to receive associate degrees or career and technical education certificates as the class of 2021.

Because the College was not able to host an in-person graduation ceremony last year, all 2020 graduates have also been invited to attend this year’s ceremonies.

All four graduation ceremonies will be shown live via streaming video on the Jefferson College Go Jeffco YouTube page and re-broadcast on JCTV (Charter Cable Channel 989) numerous times throughout the following weeks.
